The listing carries the same sentence DJI publishes on its own store: "The Expansion Adapter can expand to fit a cold shoe and an action camera port. With this adapter, Osmo Pocket 3 can be compatible with most Osmo Action accessories (such as the Osmo Backpack Strap Mount)." Note what that sentence does not say. It does not say the adapter adds a 1/4 inch thread, and no DJI document does. What it buys you is the Osmo Action two-prong mount ecosystem, and most of those accessories end in their own thread. DJI also documents a real fitting caveat in its FAQ: you align the adapter with the curved edge of the joystick base and must "Ensure the proper installation position while also allowing screen rotation before fastening the adapter buckle", which means it can be fitted in a position that stops the screen turning.

DJI has no position on any of it: its published accessory list contains no magnetic mount, the only magnetic interface DJI builds into this camera is on the lens face for filters, and DJI publishes no magnetic holding force anywhere. So there is no manufacturer figure to check the grip against, and nothing here should be read as DJI endorsing a magnet holding a camera to a car.

The Osmo Pocket 3 system has exactly one 1/4 inch thread and it is on the handle, not the body. DJI states no second mounting point anywhere: the body carries a lanyard hole, a USB-C port and two quick-release slots whose purpose DJI labels but never explains. The Expansion Adapter adds a cold shoe and an action camera port, which is a different interface rather than a second thread. Owners on r/osmopocket looking for a place to mount a phone as a monitor arrive at the same answer and end up clamping the pole or the stick instead of the camera. There is no product to link because DJI does not make one.

One first-party mount lists this camera and the other does not, and the difference between them is exactly the difference DJI writes about in its Safety Guidelines. DJI's Safety Guidelines say, verbatim, "DO NOT use the OSMO POCKET 3 in the environments with high-amplitude vibrations (such as installing on the handbar of motorcycle or bike). Otherwise, the camera system and the gimbal can be damaged." The same sentence is Usage Notice 6 in the manual.
