DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Accessories: What Actually Fits

There are exactly two DJI versions of this camera: the standard Osmo Pocket 3 and the Creator Combo. Anything else calling itself a combo or a bundle is a retailer assembling a box, not a DJI product.

Both boxes contain the camera, a Type-C to Type-C PD cable, the Osmo Pocket 3 Protective Cover, a DJI Wrist Strap and the Handle With 1/4-20 Thread. That last one matters more than anything else on this page: it is where the tripod thread lives, because the camera body does not have one, and it means every owner already has the mount point for any tripod.

The Creator Combo adds exactly seven items: the Osmo Pocket 3 Wide-Angle Lens, a DJI Mic 2 Transmitter, a DJI Mic 2 Windscreen, a DJI Mic 2 Clip Magnet, the Osmo Pocket 3 Battery Handle, the Osmo Mini Tripod and the Osmo Pocket 3 Carrying Bag.

Neither box contains a memory card, a wall charger, ND or black mist filters, the Expansion Adapter, a microphone receiver, or a second microphone transmitter. That list is where a Combo owner still has money to spend, and it is why the memory card, filter and charger guides are the ones we would send a new owner to first.

One nuance worth carrying: the camera pairs two microphone transmitters and the Combo includes one. A second transmitter is therefore an upgrade rather than a duplicate, which makes it the exception to everything above.

Each of these changes a purchase, and each is checkable against something DJI published.

The camera body has no tripod thread. The thread is on the handle, and DJI writes it plainly: both the handle and the battery handle have the screw hole at the bottom. Guides that sell you an adapter for the body are solving a problem the standard box already solved. There is exactly one thread in the system, which is also why there is nowhere to hang a second accessory.

There is no filter thread at all. Filters attach magnetically to the lens face as a rectangular plate, published by DJI at 22.10 x 15.89 mm. No screw-in filter of any diameter fits this camera, and screw-in filters for other cameras surface in Osmo Pocket 3 searches constantly. Separately, the 1/4 in the name of the black mist filter is a diffusion strength and has nothing to do with the 1/4 inch tripod thread.

DJI's own recommended memory card list has a trap in it. DJI names five card products on its specifications page, and two of them answer to products currently sold as full-size SD cards, which physically cannot enter a microSD slot. We reproduce the list as DJI wrote it and then say which entries you can actually buy in the shape this camera takes, which is the one check the list does not do for you.
