Bambu Lab H2D Accessories: Plates and Hotends

Most H2D accessory mistakes come from one fact: this is not the printer most Bambu Lab accessories are made for. Bambu sells far more X1, P1 and A1 machines, and those share a 256 x 256 mm bed. The H2D is a bigger, dual-nozzle machine with a 350 x 320 mm print area, so the single most-searched accessory, the build plate, is exactly where a buyer is most likely to pick a part cut for the wrong bed.

These guides sort that out from what Bambu publishes. The build volume and the bed are Bambu figures; what no third-party seller documents is whether their plate or hotend actually fits, so every fit here is read off the listing by hand and checked against the published bed rather than taken on trust. The cluster covers the H2D and the H2S together, because Bambu builds them on the same bed and with the same hotend form; the H2C Vortek is a different bed and is deliberately out of scope.   • [Build plates](/bambu-lab-h2d-accessories/build-plates/) must cover the 350 x 320 mm print area. A plate for the 256 x 256 mm X1, P1 or A1 does not, no matter how good it looks. The H2S takes the same plate.
  • [Hotends and nozzles](/bambu-lab-h2d-accessories/hotends-nozzles/) are a filament decision: hardened steel for carbon-fibre and glow, in 0.4, 0.6 or 0.8 mm. The H2D and H2S share the hotend form; wider H2C or P2S claims are the sellers.

Buy on the model name in the title, every time. It is the one signal that separates a part for this machine from a part for the far more common smaller Bambu printers.

Questions owners ask

Does the H2D use the same accessories as the X1 or P1?

Not for the size-dependent ones. The X1, P1 and A1 share a 256 x 256 mm bed and the H2D has a 350 x 320 mm print area, so build plates do not carry across. Buy parts that name the H2D or H2S.

Are the H2D and H2S accessories the same?

Largely yes. Bambu builds the H2D and H2S on the same bed and with the same hotend form, so plates and hotends are one buying decision across the two. The H2C Vortek is the exception and is not covered here.
