Stanley Quencher Accessories: Lids and Boots
The Stanley Quencher is really three cups wearing one name. The retired Adventure Quencher came first; the H2.0 FlowState replaced it in 2022 with a rotating 3-position lid; the ProTour arrived at the end of 2024 with a flip straw. They share a cup body at each size, which is what makes their accessories confusing and what makes the fit rules, once you have them, short.
Two rules cover the lids. A lid is chosen by SIZE, and at that size it fits every generation the same way, so a 40 oz flip-straw lid fits a 40 oz ProTour, H2.0 or Adventure. A lid does NOT cross sizes, because Stanley sells them size-locked. Then the awkward one: Stanley sells a first-party FlowState replacement lid but no ProTour replacement lid, and tells owners who crack one to buy a generic off Amazon.
The boots follow a different rule, because a boot is sized by base diameter, not by lid thread. That is why a Quencher lid will not fit an IceFlow but a Quencher boot will. Everything below is compiled from what Stanley publishes and what owners report, with both linked; we do not test accessories physically. The single line to remember: lids go by size and thread, boots go by base. That is why the two accessories answer to different cross-line rules, and why "which Stanley" is not enough to buy either one; you need the size, and for a lid, whether you want a flip straw or the rotating FlowState.
The part Stanley will not sell you
The lead finding is worth stating on its own because it is the reason the ProTour lid shelf is entirely third-party. Stanley's lids collection carries the FlowState 3-position lids in 14 oz, 20 oz to 30 oz, and 40 oz, and no ProTour flip-straw lid. Owners have watched for one and been told, by Stanley's own service, to buy a generic off Amazon. Until that changes, the flip-straw lids in the lid guide are the answer, and they are the answer Stanley itself hands out.
Because Stanley is a large brand that could put a first-party ProTour lid, or its boot set, on the Amazon shelf whenever it likes, both spokes are watched monthly. If Stanley starts selling the part it currently withholds, these pages will say so rather than keep describing a gap that has closed.

Are Stanley Quencher lids interchangeable?
Within a size, yes: a ProTour, H2.0 FlowState or Adventure Quencher of the same size takes the same lid, and the flip-straw and FlowState lids swap on that cup. Across sizes, no: Stanley sells its lids size-locked, so a 40 oz lid fits 40 oz only.
Why can I not buy a ProTour lid from Stanley?
Stanley simply does not sell one. Its replacement-lid range is the FlowState 3-position lid only, and its customer service tells owners who crack a ProTour lid to buy a generic off Amazon. The third-party flip-straw lids exist to fill that exact gap.
Does a Quencher accessory fit the Stanley IceFlow?
A boot does, a lid does not. A Quencher boot fits the IceFlow off the shared base (owner-confirmed, and looser on the newer IceFlow 2.0), while a Quencher lid fits the Quencher line only. It is the clearest example of boots going by base and lids by thread.
