For the first year this machine was on sale, its single most searched consumable was the one you could not buy with a stated fit. No standalone dust bag listing we could verify in stock named the Saros Z70: Roborock sold bags only bundled with a robot, and the big third-party multipacks listed a dozen Roborock machines without this one. We said so, in the parts guide, and kept checking.

The check on 31 August 2026 came back different. Roborock's own disposable bag listing now names the Saros Z70 in its title, and standalone third-party listings naming the plain Z70 are in stock beside it. One caveat runs through this page, and it starts on Roborock's own listing: the title names the Z70 and the compatibility bullet on the same page does not. We read the title as the statement, because it is the manufacturer's own naming, and we tell you about the bullet because pretending the disagreement is not there would be editing Roborock's claims for it. The other thing nobody publishes is an interval: the manual schedules every consumable on this machine except the bag. What to check before you buy

The bag aisle serves a dozen Roborock machines from listings that look identical. Four checks sort it out.

  • Find your machine's name on the listing, and note where you found it. A title naming the Saros Z70 is the seller telling you it fits. A list that names ten machines and not yours is not a no-fit, but it is a purchase without a stated fit, which is a different purchase.
  • First-party means the byline, not the brand in the title. Roborock's own bags carry a Roborock Technology byline. Third-party listings put "for Roborock" in the title, legitimately, and their fit claims are the seller's, not Roborock's.
  • Ignore "Saros Z70 Ultra". Roborock publishes no such machine. Real parts sell under the invented name anyway; read what is in the box.
  • Pick pack size by your household, not by a schedule. There is no official replacement interval for this bag. Pet hair and carpet fill bags faster; if you do not know your rate yet, start small.
  • Expect shared review pools. Different pack sizes of one bag family can show the same rating count because they share one pool. Read the count as the family's feedback, not the pack's.

What the listing says. The title of Roborock's own disposable bag listing names the Saros Z70 inside a twelve-model list. Lower on the same page, the "Compatible Model" bullet enumerates most of the Saros and Qrevo lines, including four Saros siblings, and does not include the Z70.

How we read it. The title is the manufacturer naming your machine on its own product, which is the strongest statement available in this category, and Roborock's own store sells the same bag for the whole Saros Series. The bullet is most likely a list nobody updated. But "most likely" is our judgement, not a Roborock document, so the disagreement is stated here instead of silently resolved.

The legacy multipacks. The two bag multipacks with the deepest owner feedback on the shelf still name a dozen Roborock machines without the Z70. That absence is not an exclusion, and we do not upgrade it into one; those listings are simply not on this page, because listings that name your machine now exist.
